Military Families at Point Fermin MSM!

We love our military families at Point Fermin Marine Science Magnet. We thank you for your service and want to partner with you to support your child.  Here are some resources to support you.

Resource for Military-Connected Families in L.A. Area:

  1. Military OneSource is a central location for service members and families to access variety of supportive services – www.militaryonesource.com or 800-342-9647.

  1. Operation Purple Camp – summer camp programs that bring together children from military-connected families; contact Johnny McLaughlin @ 909-549-0164 for more information; website is http://www.militaryfamily.org/kids-operation-purple/camps/.

  1. National Military Family Association is a great organization that offers a lot of useful information on their website (www.militaryfamily.org), and runs Operation Purple Camps.

  1. Airmen and Family Readiness Center at L.A. Air Force Base in El Segundo is an awesome resource for military-connected families in the Los Angeles area.  Although it is an Air Force center, ALL service members and families from ALL military branches can receive services there – especially since L.A. does not have any large military installations to support specific branches.
