Welcome to Point Fermin Marine Science Magnet STEAM. We are proud to be the only elementary school in the LAUSD with a marine science focus. Our unique location has a view of Angel's Gate Lighthouse, Learning Garden, Wonder of Reading library, and a long legacy of invested families and engaged students.

We provide a variety of unique educational opportunities for all of our students. Our staff is forward-looking and ever challenging themselves to grow their knowledge about how best to help our students learn and grow. We want to foster a love for learning through individualized instruction. Every person at Point Fermin MSM does everything it takes to help each child grow and find their passion.

Teaching is the most important work in the world. Learning is hard and rewarding work! When adults, school staff, and students all pull together, we can help every child achieve success.  We are committed to providing each student with a superior educational experience. Our students are truly at the heart of everything we do at Point Fermin MSM. Each child is valued and respected at this outstanding school.
